Bewitched by their own image on TV, their own ubiquity on the radio, the music industry, and the entertainment world of the 1960s and 1970s, did the Tropicália lose its historic chance to transform Brazilian culture at a deeper level?
The sound piece Tropicália Transposed to Brazil Post-TV is a fictitious song suggested as a bonus track from the 1968 Gilberto Gil's album, composed with a collage of "Pé da Roseira", "Domingo no Parque", "Coragem para Suportar", "Questão de Ordem", "Luzia Luluza " and Caccuri's "djembe" drum solo, as an exercise to imagine the sound of 1960s Gilberto Gil when there is no more TV.
